The house was built in the year 1871 beyond the town gate of the Friedrichstadt in the today's district Mitte (Center of Berlin).In the last war days strongly destroyed, it only 1982 was repaired and modernized. The close range checkpoint "Chausseestrasse" , that crossed the border to East Berlin was opened in the year 1989. Starting from this point the "new center" kept on converging into our direction.

"Our groomed pension lies lain in the heart of Berlin-Wedding at the national highway B 96 conveniently. It was renovated entirely in February 2003 and all rooms were equipped with brand-new equipment. There are 5 singles -, 2 double- and 3 increase-bed-rooms as well as a 2-room-apartment. The rooms have water (wash-basin) flowing and are equipped with Kabel-TV. For the hall, there are Showers and WC on the floor. Breakfast admittedly is not contained in the price, the outstanding cafe-bar XXL (opening-times from 09:00 o'clock) declares as it in the ground floor in the house however. There, you get an extensive breakfast to the price of 3,00 € until 6,00 €. up to the city-west and city-east (Alexander-place) is not wide it. A subway-line is directly before the front door.

Hostel am Flußbad
A little bit more far out east, but a nice little Hostel in the area of Treptow-Köpenick. Maybe a good alternative to the cliché berlin area. experience another side. More cosy and more friendly, somehow a little bit like in a summercamp with countryside flair. Good for big groups.
Price for a night is 17 Euro, if you are 20 people the price per person is 15 Euro

One of the Meininger Hostels, maybe the first one since 1965 in the area of Schönberg. There are a few more around the city. That's the welcome line at their website:

The Happy BED HOsTEL was opened in March 2000. They offer single, 2, 3, and 4 bed rooms, which are located on 4 floors. Their single rooms are equipped with private showers and WC.

It is really close to the biggest berlin Fleemarket at Mauerpark which opens saturdays and sundays during the summer...thats a berlin highlight...also very close to the hip area of Kastanienallee with lots of shops bars cafes and spots

Another hostel of the A&O Hostels chain. Maybe the cheapest decision for this area. It's not a 5 star accomodation but allright for a stay...prices from 12 Euro per night...

Circus - The Hostel
Open since 2001, a popular place for backpackers, offering 1-8-bed-rooms with communal facilities as well as spectacular rooftop apartments, DJs, Live-Music and "Boots" in Goldman's bar, and a cute café with excellent breakfast.Close to the Going Out area of Kastanienallee and Brunnenstraße with lots of Bars, Clubs, Shops and Galleries. Wombat´s Berlin City Hostel
This hostel has is located just around the corner from the major train station and only minutes away from the historic city center. All local attractions are within quick & easy reach with public transport. Lots of Bars Shops etc. around. In the hip area of Mitte and close to Hackescher Markt. The famous clubs, small young designer shops Spree River and lots of art galleries (around August Straße) are very close. It's not the cheapest but has a double bonus because of its location

A really nice, clean and comfortable Hostel. Nice located in a backyard in a quite neutral area of Friedrichshain. So it is really close to all the interesting areas like Mitte, Kreuzberg the East Side Gallery, Spree River. Also it is really close to the famous Techno Club Berghain / Panoramabar.Prices per night start from 13 Euro in a big dorm.

Cheap Hostel of the A&O Hostels chain in the area of Friedrichshain. It's cheap cheap cheap, but ok for the area and a short stay. The area is nice and the is an interesting young youth and students culture with lots of bars and clubs nearby. one night per person starts from 8 euro

one of the A&O Hostels located in the area of Charlottenburg. They are very cheap, not the best to choose but allright for a short stay.prices for one night in a 8 to 10 beds room start from 8 Euro
