Thank you so much to all the 300+ people who came to TAMTAMTAM 6 Sci-Fi “Time Travel Gone Wrong” Halloween performance+music party last week.
You were all so beautiful, fun, different, and frightening at the same time – we all had an amazing time travel experience…

This very special costume night themed around sci-fi and time travel that goes wrong, might well be the very last one. As you have all heard The Large Hadron Collider is due to (mis)launch this November. The eternal quest for the origins of this world will soon be realized. The mysterious Higgs particle that will be obtained through the Collider will give us all the answers. But what if this obsessive drive to find the “center” is nothing else but a collective suicide of the humanity that is rapidly losing the sense of reality? We have to save this world and the only way we can do it is through re-enacting the events here and now and making sure it all goes wrong. The magic Higgs particle already keeps coming back in time to sabotage our imminent end (see The New York Times article if you don’t believe us), but it asked us for some help. It has been exhausted by eternal return and now needs some human power to make it happen. Again and again.
In this event we will attempt the first ever time travel, but will also make sure it goes wrong. Magic creatures will be born, mishaps and fuckups will be embraced, the Higgs particle will be present there with us sabotaging its own appearance through the constant removal of any points of reference that could be considered “central” or “original” (in the Biblical sense of the word). Science is fiction, and fiction is science. Time travel has never been closer to us. Embrace the monstrous nature of the human beings, come and celebrate your inner self.
