If you need a CUE…
This Friday, 7th of August, our friends from CUE are hosting their regular (anti) event, this time on the bridge near Reichstag.
What is CUE? On the surface, it’s kind of an open improv night where people come and play together. But on a deeper level it offers much more. While most events do everything possible to be “successful”, CUE leaves it to the audience to make something out of it. That means that it leaves a space for failure, weirdness, fun, boredom, party, creativity – and anything else the people bring in. That’s why they sometimes call it “anti-event”, a kind of accidental meeting with no expectations and no commitments, a sort of arrangement to pass by at a certain time in a certain place and see what happens.
So…
CUE ON THE BRIDGE, FRIDAY 7th AUGUST 8 PM:
next to the Paul Löbe Haus, 1 min from Reichstag, between Sbahn Hauptbahnof and Friedrichstr.

Tomi Paasonen – Performance, Work in Progress excerpts from .. WOW ¥€$
Staged & Choreographed by Tomi Paasonen

We propose that performing otherness is a threshold towards repositioning our habitual understanding of queer ideals. Creature Feature will work to create an intimate space for performing dispossession, rapture, monstrosity, flamboyance, glitter, hysteria and general ecstatic irrationality. Or la la la… its opposites!
