Our special thanks go to Sci-Fi Design Team lead by John-Erik Jordan (Eric Green, Mollie Hosmer-Dillard, Brandon Johnson, Paul Schoen, Jessica Taylor, Ruby Grosser, Dargelos Kersten, Rachel Higgins, Anton Blume) who created amazing costumes, videos, and space design.
Ben Butler and Mousepad (Bastian + Joe) for their powerful and fantastic performance.
O Tannenbaum DJs for making everyone dancing and having fun longer than we could ever imagine (kind of usual thing). Isabel+Josep for their time travel DJ set.

Paul Schoen for interactive video projection.
Sarah Lewis and Lukas for helping us all out.
Alte Kindl Brauerei and Brion for hosting the event and being so cool to work with.

And, of course, to all the people who were there wearing their amazing outfits, having great energy, being playful, enjoying each other.

We have more photos on the way, above are just a few of hundreds, most of them made by Miguel Lopes, except for #3 and #4 made by Christian Nilsen. TAMTAMTAM Halloweeeeeeen

Hello dear friends,

TAMTAMTAM is coming back on the 31st of October with the Halloweeeen sci-fi / time travel went wrong theme. We would very much like you, yes, you to be a part of this event as well. So if you feel like contributing something, which could be an object, a performance, a piece of music, a word of encouragement, a word of critique, food, money, organs or anything else – please, do let us know. Otherwise, we’re also still looking for a suitable space, so if you know a venue that could host about 150 people and has several rooms and no annoying neighbors – we need it!

John-Erik who will be in charge of making the space look special has a special request for you guys. Basically, he wants you to give him all your junk so we can build something up for the night. And unused stuff will be part of the huge junk swapshop, where you’ll be able to exchange items, find new love, and so on. Here’s John-Erik’s message:

Need to get rid of stuff? Play Berlin wants it. Why? Because the costumes and decorations for TAMTAMTAM’s Halloween party will be made out of junk. The junk you don’t want anymore. All this unwanted stuff will become the raw materials for our art department to build the dazzling sci-fi world where the party will take place.
So don’t throw it away. Give it to us and it can live a new life as an ancient monster/mad scientist/atomic ray gun/symbiotic cape creature/space-time vortex/telepathic tube array/ time machine control panel/etc.
Think of TAMTAMTAM’s art department as Berlin’s newest city service: Creative Recycling.

Here’s what we can use:
CLOTHES (any kind. even if they smell or are full of holes)
clothing accessories (earrings, sunglasses, eyepatches, anything)
fabric
wood
cardboard (scraps, sheets, tubes, toiletpaper rolls, etc)
plastic packaging material
plastic bottles
paper
newspaper
pvc pipe
aluminium foil
broken electronic equipment (headphones, stereos, tvs, computers, etc)
broken appliances
defunct technology
housewares
broom handles
string, ropes, cables
paint
foam mattresses
aluminium foil
tape
random stuff
basically, ANYTHING as long as it’s not leaking, toxic or radioactive.

Please contact John-Erik if you want him to pick up your unwanted things. Or you can schedule with him to drop them off at a designated Halloween Materials Dropp-Off spot.
